25th SEA Games, Laos. Vientiane 2009 SPORT DISCIPLINES
Cycling or bicycle racing, an internationally popular sport conducted on closed courses or the open road. Bicycle racing includes road bicycle racing, cyclo-cross, mountain bike racing, track cycling, BMX racing and bike trials. As the bicycle evolved its various forms, different racing formats developed. Road races may involve both team and individual competition, and are contested in various ways. They range from the one-day road race to multi-stage events. Medals are awarded in individual and team track events, including the sprint, which features a duel between two finalists. Another track event is the pursuit, in which racers begin at opposite sides of the circuit and attempt to catch each other. Cycling was first incorporated into the Asian Games in 1951.

ROAD

* 160.3 km Individual massed start.
^ Womens
* 24 km Individual Time Trial (ITT)
* 116.1 Individual massed start.
MTB
^ Mens
* Cross Country ( 9,3 Km per lap ) x 4
* 1.5 Km Down Hill
^ Womens
* Cross Country ( 9,3 Km per lap ) x 3
* 1.5 Km Down Hill
Competition Venue
• Road Events:
Time Trial: - The competition will be held at That Luang - Lan Xang Avenue - Samsenethai - Thadeua km10 - T4 and Kaysone Road will be Provide motor cycle per team.
Massed Start: - The Competition will be Started at Done Noune Tri Square, Ban Keun and return at Thalath Market for men, women return at Pakkhanhoung.
Mountain Bike: - Cross country will be held at Tad Song, Saythany District. Down Hill will be held at Dane Soung, Saythany District.
• Training Site:
Training venue will be provided at the same location as the competition site. The training schedule for each team will be given upon the arrival.
