Cube Entertainment releases first ‘family song’, “Fly So High”!

Cube Entertainment, the record label that signed 4minute, B2ST, and G.Na, have just released their very first 'family song', titled "Fly So High".

"Fly So High" is a collaboration track featuring the afore-mentioned twelve Cube Entertainment family members, now known as 'U-Cube'. It's an upbeat and addictive song that harmonizes the artists' unique talents to create the perfect feel-good summer track.

While the song was in its production stages, the U-Cube family members were honest with one another, offering their experience and expertise to help each other refine their talents, as they worked more earnestly on this track than any of their previous projects.

The U-Cube members will all be performing their 'Fly So High' single for the very first time at the UNITED CUBE CONCERT on August 14th. They plan to debut the song on other overseas stages, like in Japan and England.

Cube Entertainment responds to Kikwang’s smoking pictures

B2ST's Lee Kikwang has been caught up in a smoking controversy.

On July 19th, photos were posted online with the caption, "Photos of Lee Kikwang smoking. Real or not?". Though the photo quality makes it difficult to determine 100% whether or not the man seen is truly Kikwang, netizens have had a field day because of the topic's title alone.

Kikwang's agency, Cube Entertainment, responded to the controversy with, "We're not sure whether it is Kikwang in the picture. Even if it is, he is of legal age to smoke in Korea, so we fail to see the issue."

Quite frankly, we're more impressed with the fact that Cube Entertainment released such a bold, yet true statement about the issue (if it is indeed Kikwang with smokes in his hand).

Daesung reaches settlement with family of deceased motorcyclist

The drama between Big Bang's Daesung and the family of deceased motorcyclist Hyun seems to be edging towards closure, as it's being reported that they have compromised on a settlement.

Daesung was embroiled in a controversy back in May after he inadevertently struck Hyun on the highway. The impact of the collision resulted in Hyun's death, and the media went into a frenzy as everyone tried to uncover the details behind the accident in the aftermath.

A representative told OSEN regarding the settlement, "On July 19th, Daesung and the victim's family reached a settlement. The victim's family have expressed that they do not seek charges against Daesung, and that they felt sympathy for him. They also told him not to agonize over the issue, and that they would like to see him be more active soon."

INFINITE’s Sung Jong knows G.NA’s body dimensions?

INFINITE's Sung Jong recently made an awkward confession that he knows the exact body dimesions of singer G.NA.

On this week's episode of "Bloody Ties" on the E Channel, members of INFINITE participated in a quiz where they had to guess the correct celebrity based in the described body dimensions.

Awkward enough, when MC Kim Gook Jin asked, "Height of 168cm, weight of 47kg, slender size of 44 and contrasting D cup, the singer is... ?" Sung Jong was quick to correctly shout the answer, "G.NA".

In shock, fellow INFINITE members began to tease him and ask, "You're so young, how do you even know G.NA's breast size?" to which Sung Jong confessed, "I know because she's a close nuna of mine."

The full episode is set to broadcast on July 21st.

Leeteuk and Eunhyuk comment on Lee Seung Gi’s drinking habits

Super Junior's leader Leeteuk and fellow member Eunhyuk had some words to say about host Lee Seung Gi's drinking habits on the most recent episode of Strong Heart.

Apparently, despite being part of the same show for some time now, the three just recently got together to hang out in their personal life. Co-host Kang Ho Dong expressed some disappointment at not being invited, asking Lee Seung Gi: "You recently had a get-together around Chung-dam-dong didn't you?"

Leeteuk commented, "We promised to meet, but I was hesitant to the very end. Up until an hour before we were supposed to meet, we kept asking each other, 'Are we really meeting up?' It was my first time meeting a fellow entertainer friend on an unofficial occasion so it was a bit awkward."

He went on to say, "We were all bothered by who would pay for the drinks. I was supposed to pay since I was the oldest, but Lee Seung Gi said, 'I'm the one who got everyone together so I'll pay. You guys can pay the next time we meet.' In the end, Lee Seung Gi paid."

Kang Ho Dong commented, "I guess Eunhyuk was the most comfortable," to which Lee Seung Gi replied, "Eunhyuk can't drink so he only had some cola so it would have been unfair for him to pay."

Eunhyuk and Leeteuk then went on to reveal a bit of Lee Seung Gi's drinking habits stating, "If you see how much he drank, it was only right that he paid! To our surprise, he's actually quite the drinker and braggart."

Kang Ho Dong chimed in as well saying, "Lee Seung Gi is surprisingly manly. His alcohol tolerance is extremely high."

KBS explains reasons behind the cancellation of JYJ’s appearance on ‘N7W’

KBS representatives recently explained the official reason behind the sudden cancellation of JYJ's appearance on KBS's 'Jeju 7 New Wonders of World KBS Special Live'that left JYJ and its many fans upset and confused.

KBS officials told Sports Korea, "Until the 3 members of JYJ finish their lawsuit with SM Entertainment, it will be difficult to appear on KBS."

JYJ had planned to sing two songs on the stage, but on July 17th JYJ's agency, C-JeS received notification that their appearance was canceled just 4 days before their scheduled performance. C-JeS also received notification that, "If JYJ makes an appearance, the broadcast itself is impossible" , raising concerns of the possibility of 'backdoor pressure'.

However, the representative stated, "The personal activities of the members of JYJ are possible. For example, Park Yoochun's appearance on KBS's 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' happened." But past events still point to the fact that KBS has also obstructed their personal activities.

For example, Park Yoochun was invited as the 'unknown guest star' by actor Kim Kap Soo on KBS's 'Kim Seung Woo is Doing Just Fine' due to their close relationship on 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal'. However, one day before the recording, it was reported there was a misfire. As a result, Yoochun was not allowed to appear on the program.

A representative explained, "That day Park Yoochun was not alone, because it was more for publicity for JYJ." Another representative told Sports Korea, "Park Yoochun was invited by his co-star in 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal', Kim Kap Soo. There was no reason for JYJ to appear."

Meanwhile, on July 19th, JYJ fans began a signature campaign asking for both an apology and clear explanation for the cancellation of JYJ's appearance.
